Host Sarah Nicole Landry sits down with the voice of Disney's Moana, American actress Auli’i Cravalho and the songwriting duo making history, Barlow and Bear from the new Moana 2 movie soundtrack.
Cravalho, who voiced Moana at 14 and is now 24, reflected on the character's growth and the importance of Moana's non-traditional princess role. Barlow and Bear, the youngest all-female Disney songwriters, shared their experience and the emotional process of creating the new soundtrack. The hosts praised the film's cultural depth, particularly its representation of Pacific Island navigation and ancestry, and highlighted the immersive educational experiences during the press junket live from Hawaii.
