So...big news! I sold my first home! And I'm sharing everything I learned, what you should know about selling your first home and what my personal experience was like selling in the crazy Toronto housing market. I also share why I decided to sell my home before buying a new one, which is abnormal during a seller's market.
All in all, once we locked down our realtor at beginning of September, things moved very quickly. We packed up our stuff, staged our place, listed it, and sold it 1 week after it was listed! It was crazy. And although I'm not sharing specific numbers in the video (I'll do a follow-up video), it was insane to see how much it appreciated in value since we bought it 5 years ago.
That being said, it's a lot more fun being on the seller's side of things than the buyer's. I'll also share another video about my experience buying a new place (since making this video I was able to close on a house...an actual house!).
